The BAFA Diversity SIG aims to enhance and support diversity in accounting and finance education, research and practice. You can read more about the SIG on the About Us page.

The Diversity SIG will ensure this is achieved by actively creating a professional space for diversity accounting and finance researchers and educators that seeks the broad inclusion and active engagement of multiple perspectives, experiences, and ideas in accounting and finance education, research, and practice. The Diversity SIG further seeks to create an awareness of diversity matters that impact research, education and practice as well as enhancing and supporting the professional development of all academics and doctoral students.

The Diversity SIG was started in 2023.
