Virtual Symposium on The Future of Financial Reporting 2024

The FARSIG Symposium 2024 will take place on Friday, 12 January 2024 at 10:00 am GMT. The duration of the event is estimated to be 2.5 hours. It is co-organised by the British Accounting and Finance Association Financial Accounting and Reporting Special Interest Group and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

The 2024 FARSIG symposium brings together a series of high-profile speakers to discuss the current developments in the private companies’ and SMEs’ reporting. The symposium provides a forum for both practitioners and academics to hear and engage in the debate with the following well-informed speakers: Eriona Bajrakurtaj, Major’s Accounts & Co; Christof Beuselinck, IÉSEG School of Management; Steve Heathcote, PrimeGlobal; and Gavin Spencer, Beach Accountants Ltd.

The symposium presentations and discussions should also serve as a valuable teaching aid for those academics engaged in teaching financial and non-financial reporting and contemporary issues in accounting at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

There is no charge for attending the symposium, but attendees must book their place by the 5 January 2024.
