About Us

The Corporate Finance and Asset Pricing SIG will strive to foster excellence in finance research and scholarly activities; promote advances in knowledge of the social-economic impact of rapid change in the financial world; further new development in financial regulations and practices; disseminate knowledge generated through publication, and collaboration; facilitate engagement with academic and professional communities as well as policy makers and regulators; and inform and enhance teaching.

The SIG aims to:

• encourage and share quality research among members in various areas of finance and promote internationally acknowledged innovative research in the field. This would entail the following;
• contribute to sound financial policies and regulation and increase the recognition of the importance of practice and policies relating to finance through dissemination, collaboration and engagement;
