1st Online Workshop of the Impact Mentoring Scheme (ImpactMent)

The Accounting & Finance in Emerging Economies Special Interest Group (AFEE SIG) is excited to launch the ImpactMent scheme, an initiative designed to support accounting and finance academics in developing high quality impact case studies for REF 2029. The first online workshop will be held on Tuesday, 10 June 2025 (12:30–14:00 GMT) and will share insights into best practices for achieving impactful research.

• Reflections on developing impact case studies: challenges and practical considerations

One-to-One Impact mentoring

Following this workshop, participants who wish to be considered for one-to-one impact mentoring sessions will be invited to submit a one-page impact proposal. Further details about this process will be shared in the workshop.

Four selected proposals will be assigned to each of the panel members for TWO one-to-one support sessions to help further develop the selected proposals into case studies.

It is free to attend this online workshop but participants must be BAFA members.
