Knowledge Lab, 16 March 2026

This session is part of the BAFA Corporate Governance Knowledge Lab series and features Professor Tracy Wang, an expert in corporate governance, information intermediaries, and both financial and non-financial reporting and regulation. In this talk, Tracy examines how corporate biodiversity exposure influences the pricing of earnings, demonstrating that transparent biodiversity disclosures are essential for accurate risk assessment and valuation. Overall, she contends that biodiversity exposure represents a material financial risk.

The BAFA Corporate Governance Knowledge Lab unites academics, practitioners, and policymakers to encourage meaningful discussion on contemporary governance challenges and emerging research insights.

BAFA Corporate Governance SIG's Knowledge Lab event held online on 28 January 2026 with  Dr Dionysia Katelouzou, an internationally recognised expert in corporate governance, shareholder engagement and institutional investor stewardship. In this talk, Dionysia explores contemporary developments in corporate governance, including the evolving role of institutional investors, stewardship practices, and the growing interaction between governance, sustainability and long-term value creation.
