73rd WCAR Symposium and the 4th AISET Conference

We are pleased to announce the annual conference for the newly developed Business AI and Analytics Centre BAIAC, the Rutgers CAR Lab 73^rd World Continuous Auditing & Reporting Symposium (WCARS) and the 4^th Accounting Information System & Emerging Technology (AISET) Special Interest group. The conference will run on 16 –17 September 2026 at Durham University Business School Durham. UK.

This year’s topic is around 'Accounting Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, FinTech, Blockchain and Big Data Analytics Challenges and Opportunities’. The participation of vendors and implementers of new accounting related technology is particularly encouraged. The conference attracts a large audience. Most participants come from the internal audit departments of leading businesses and governmental organizations, as well from the vendor community. Commercial firms in the IT space often appear along with their lead customers to demonstrate their product’s ROI and best practices.
