Virtual Workshop: Exploring Archives
Tuesday 9 - Tuesday 9 December 2025 OnlineThe Accounting History SIG is holding an online workshop 'Exploring Archives' on 9 December 2025 at 09.00–11.00 GMT.
The workshop is designed for accounting history scholars, exploring how archival sources can enrich historical inquiry and generate new ideas for research. The session will offer practical insights into locating, accessing, and interpreting archival materials to deepen understanding of accounting in history.
The workshop includes a presentation titled 'State Finance in the Archives' by Dr Sean Cunningham, Head of Medieval Records in the Collections Expertise and Engagement Department of The National Archives, and Dr Paul Dryburgh, one of the Principal Records Specialists in the Medieval team at The National Archives.

The workshop is free to attend but you must register to receive the Zoom link. Registration is open via your BAFA Membership Account. Registration closes on 5 December 2025.
