Accounting Education Award for Distinctive Approaches to Teaching and Assessment

The BAFA Accounting Education SIG is delighted to announce the launch of this year’s award for outstanding contributions to the teaching and assessment of accounting. The award seeks specifically to highlight excellence in the development, delivery and evaluation of distinctive approaches to the teaching or assessment of accounting (broadly defined) at undergraduate or postgraduate degree level. The first award was granted in 2023 and has continued annually ever since. The deadline for applications is 30 September each year.

Accounting Education SIG Doctoral Bursary

The British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA) Education Special Interest Group (AE SIG) are offering a bursary to assist with doctoral studies in Accounting Education. One or more bursaries to the maximum value of £3,000 each (to be spent over a maximum three-year period) are available each year (up to the limit of the funds allocated) to assist in the conduct of doctoral research into pedagogical and curriculum issues in accounting/finance.
