South West Area Group (SWAG) Online Conference: 2025

Following on from our successful live conference at Swansea University on 8 September 2025, BAFA SWAG will hold a virtual one-day Doctoral Colloquium and Conference on Wednesday 19 November 2025.

The conference will be held online via Microsoft Teams. Requests for particular time slots for paper presentation will be accommodated where possible.

Call for Papers

Deadline: 31 October 2025

Papers are invited from both PhD students and academic staff. Please submit an Abstract between 200 and 500 words by 23:59 on 31 October 2025 by email to: south-western-ag@bafa.ac.uk. Acceptance of your paper will be confirmed by email within seven days of receipt of Abstract.

Registration

Opens: 25 September 2025

Closes: 12 November 2025

As it is an online conference, attendance is free of charge. But you must register by the closing date in order to receive the link to the online event. Registration is via your BAFA membership account.

If you are not already a member of BAFA, you will need to join and pay the annual subscription of:
