Accreditation Masterclass: What’s Changing and Why It Matters

Securing and maintaining an optimal level of professional accreditation is essential for Departments of Accounting and Finance—and staying ahead of changes is key.

Join us on Friday, 27 February 2026, 10:00-12:00 noon for this insightful seminar where we’ll hear directly from the professional bodies about the updates they’re making to their qualifications and what these changes mean for third-level education and programme accreditation.

This is a must-attend session for anyone involved in curriculum design, programme leadership, or accreditation strategy.

We’re delighted to welcome accreditation specialists from leading professional bodies, including:
- Judy Dimmock FCA, ICAEW
- Judith Wilson, ICAS
- Réidín Ní Aonghusa, Chartered Accountants Ireland

Led by Dr. Hilary Coyle alongside experienced accreditation lead Lynne Howey and additional invited contributors.

This session is an opportunity to gain practical insights, ask questions, and deepen your understanding of what high-quality, future‑focused accredited accounting education looks like.

It is free to attend for anyone working at a BAFA CDAF member institution. Institutional membership of BAFA CDAF is just £50 per annum and entitles all colleagues to join all CDAF events at no charge. To check or set up institutional membership please contact Anna Egan: a.egan@mmu.ac.uk
