The BA small grants scheme opened this month and the first deadline is 5 November 2025
BAFA members who are eligible to apply for consideration for the Fellowship of the Academy of Social Sciences (AcSS) are encouraged to complete the nomination forms along with their CV following the Academy's guidelines to be endorsed and submitted by BAFA on their behalf. The next deadline for submissions of nominations to the Academy for consideration for the Award of Fellowships are 1 June 2025 and 1 December 2025 (to help those who may have plans or intentions of submitting their applications for consideration, please kindly note that the 1 June and 1 December deadlines are the same every year).

BAFA is an accredited member of the AcSS, which means we can submit nominations directly. To be considered through BAFA, download and complete the nomination form and submit this with a CV to admin@bafa.ac.uk
Eligible BAFA members can submit their nominations directly to the AcSS for consideration without BAFA’s involvement if they prefer. We would encourage as many eligible members as possible to apply for consideration, whichever route they choose.
