Call for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion group members
In line with BAFA’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) policy we are now constituting an EDI Monitoring group. The EDI policy document sets out the areas of responsibility for the EDI Monitoring group. It is expected that these responsibilities will in the main be covered in group meetings to be held approximately every six months. Between meetings there may be a need to consult on specific issues of an urgent nature.
The vacancies are open to all members of BAFA, at any stage of their career and any membership status. An interest in EDI issues is required but detailed knowledge of the area is not a requirement.
Please contact BAFA vice-president, Stewart Smyth (email@example.com) for further detailson the EDI Monitoring group and to formally express interest. Please note that if there are more candidates than vacancies on the group, there will need to be an election.
The deadline for receipt of interest is Monday, 7 of June 2021.
Appointments are made under our Diversity and Inclusion Policy and are overseen by our Diversity and Inclusion Monitoring Committee.
