Doctoral Masterclasses Online Event: Rejection, failure and success in academia

The Doctoral Masterclasses team is holding a series of online events aimed at supporting PhD students in Accounting and Finance. The next such event will draw on the experiences of a panel of scholars to discuss the roles of rejection, failure and success in academic careers. We will discuss how to respond to rejection and failure, how to learn from them, and how to overcome them. In addition, we will reflect on what it means to be successful in the context of academia.

Chaired by Florian Gebreiter, the panel will include:
