2020 BAFA Distinguished Academic Plenary

Wednesday 23 - Wednesday 23 September 2020 Online Session

At our 2019 Annual Conference Professor Niamh Brennan received BAFA's Distinguished Academic Award (DAA). Our usual tradition is that the DAA winner delivers a plenary address at the following conference. However, due to the pandemic we had to cancel the 2020 annual conference.

Rather than forego the DAA plenary address completely, we invited Professor Brennan to deliver her address virtually and we are delighted to announce that she has accepted the invitation.

Our first 2020 BAFA Distinguished Academic Plenary will take place at 14:00 (UK time) on Wednesday, 23 September 2020 with Professor Brennan addressing the topic of “Connecting Earnings Management to the Real World: What happens in the black box of the boardroom?

This FREE plenary session will be carried out online and is open to all BAFA members. You will need to register to attend, and you can do this by logging into your BAFA Membership account and clicking the Purchase Tickets button.
