British Accounting and Finance Association Finance Special Interest Group Constitution (2016)
Purposes: The main purposes of the Corporate Finance and Asset Pricing SIG (CF&APSIG) are to further the objects of the British Accounting Association and for that purpose to: encourage research and scholarship in Financial management and strategy; establish a network of researchers and teachers in various areas of finance; enhance the teaching of Finance; provide support for PhD students in Finance; develop close links with the finance profession so as to inform policy; publish a newsletter and organise targeted workshops; develop and maintain relationships with the British Accounting and Finance Association and the Professional Accountancy Institutes and Finance Professional Bodies; provide a forum for interaction of ideas among finance academics.
