BAFA South East Area Group Conference 2016

The British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA) South East Area Group Conference will be hosted this year at the Kingston Business School on Fri 9 December 2016. As the hosts and the co-Chairs of the BAFA - South East Area Group, we would like to warmly invite you to join us on Fri 9 December 2016 at the Kingston University Business School campus.

Call for Papers

The conference welcomes papers on any area of accounting and finance, with submissions ranging from fully developed papers to early working drafts.

In the true collegial spirit of the BAFA conferences, participants and presenters, from seasoned and widely published and experienced professors to early career academics, young researchers and PhD students will come together and have the opportunity to discuss their research.

The BAFA conferences are always lively places where you can get feedback on your work, get advice and share ideas for future research and collaborative work and network with colleagues in your area.

Deadline for submission of a 500-word abstract is 14 November 2016. Details on how to submit can be found on theConference FAQs page

The Venue

The Kingston Business School campus is one of the most beautiful university campuses in London. It is only three miles from Kingston city centre. You can reach the Kingston Business School campus:

  • by train from Waterloo: take the train to Kingston train station and from there bus 85 or the free Kingston University satellite campus bus to Kingston Hill campus;
  • by bus: from the Putney Bridge tube station (District Line to Wimbledon) take bus 85 to Kingston Hill campus (16 stops) 20 min;
  • driving: from A3 take A308 to Kingston Hill campus. There is a free parking.
