Conference: Accountants will Save the Planet - London

An event for all accounting professionals and academics of any seniority working in all sectors – who care about the planet!

Accountants have a massive role to play in helping to create a sustainable future for us all. They need to be part of the green solution now, as there is no Planet B.

Following the success of their previous sell-out accountancy conferences, London South Bank University and PQ magazine have joined together again to host a packed one-day conference looking to see if we are accounting for extinction; whether its time to declare a carbon emergency; and, why it’s important to save both the accountants and the bees!

Keynote speaker: Professor Jill Atkins, Chair in Financial Management, Sheffield University Management School and co-author of ‘Chief Value Office: Accountants can save the planet’. Jill is also a co-editor on a book on the Business of Bees. She is also the Chair of BAFA's Corporate Governance Special Interest Group.

The conference takes place on Thursday, 21 November 2019 from 09:00 to 18:00 at the London South Bank University LSBU Business School.
