The Annual Doctoral Conference is designed for students studying for a Doctorate in Accounting and Finance. The purpose is to bring doctoral students together to offer plenary sessions by leading researchers, dedicated workshops presented by subject area specialists, offer students the opportunity to present their work, receive expert comment and advice from established faculty members and provide an opportunity for group networking.
The BAFA Annual Doctoral Colloquium will take place at University Place, Manchester on Sunday 22 and Monday 23 March 2015.
Students who wish to present their work at the event will need to submit an abstract when registering to attend. Anyone who submits their abstract and registers by the deadline date of Friday 9 January will automatically be allocated a slot to present their work. Please note that abstracts need to follow the BAFA standard format (details and an example can be found by following the link on the right hand side of this page).
The deadline for registering for students who wish to attend only (e.g. not present their work) is Monday 2 March.
The registration fee has been held at £50 for registrered full-time PhD students who do not receive a salary. The fee for all other participants is £100. Only members of BAFA are permitted to participate in this event so the relevant subscription fee may also be applicable in addition to the registration fee.
